Each business model has a unique workflow, with JobExact you can customize or workflow using the JobExact's core features we have to offer. We offer a wide variety of features, from marketing, procurement and inventory, project bidding, customer relation, sale and accounting.
Your business your flow, rearrange each step of the way! These app enhance the core platform's functionalities by enabling developers to build new modules or applications by using the apps framework. Each app consists of one or more app features developed with the same framework.
Lead Capture
The Lead Capture module in JobExact allows users to manage estimate requests submitted via public links, which can be converted into jobs. The interface includes a searchable and filterable list of leads, with customizable column views that can be saved for future use. Each lead record can be accessed through a detailed form view, which may include tabs for submitted data, location via Google Maps, attached files, and user notes. Users can add or reset notes, and delete leads directly from the list. The system streamlines lead tracking and conversion, enhancing visibility and operational efficiency.
Jobs
The Job module in JobExact offers a centralized interface for managing all aspects of a job—from customer details and scheduling to financials and documentation. Users can view and edit job profiles, track progress through status updates, and manage workflows and schedules. The module supports uploading files and photos, handling insurance and billing (including QuickBooks integration), and generating reports. It also includes tools for creating and managing project documents like proposals, work orders, and material requests. Custom forms and fields allow for tailored data collection, while the activity log ensures transparency by tracking all changes.
Time Tracking
The Time Tracking module in JobExact provides a robust system for logging and managing employee work hours. Users can clock in and out of jobs, track break durations, and view daily and weekly totals, including regular and overtime hours. The interface displays detailed time records with job tags, timestamps, and approval status, allowing for manual edits and notes when needed. Filters and search tools help streamline record retrieval, while the system calculates total working time across users for operational oversight. This module supports accurate payroll processing, accountability, and performance tracking.
Item Catalog
The Item Catalog module in JobExact provides a structured interface for managing inventory and pricing details across various product categories. Users can search, filter, and customize column views to display item attributes such as ID, category, supplier, cost, markup, tax codes, and modification dates. Each entry includes internal and customer-facing descriptions, with options to attach images and export or upload data via CSV. The catalog supports editing and deletion of items directly from the list, streamlining inventory control and ensuring accurate, up-to-date product information.
Todo Lists
The Todo List module in JobExact helps users manage task assignments and deadlines across jobs and customers. It displays a sortable and filterable list of todos with key details like status, customer name, assignee, creation and due dates, priority level, and associated job actions. Users can view or delete tasks directly from the list, and overdue items are clearly marked for follow-up. The module supports efficient task tracking and accountability, making it easier to stay organized and ensure timely completion of job-related activities.
Calendar
The Calendar module in JobExact offers a visual scheduling interface that consolidates various event types—Jobs, Todos, Appointments, Personal Events, and Material Orders—into a unified monthly view. Users can filter by event type, navigate dates, and view detailed entries including job locations, statuses, and assigned personnel. Each calendar item links back to its source module for deeper context or action. This module enhances planning and coordination by providing a centralized snapshot of operational timelines and commitments.
The Email module in JobExact integrates both inbound and outbound communication into a unified workspace, streamlining correspondence across jobs, customers, and internal operations. It includes folders for Inbox, Sent, and Trash, with options to compose new emails, reply, forward, or delete messages. Users can switch between thread and list views, search by subject or sender, and filter by read status. Each email displays sender details, timestamps, and previews, with direct links to related job records or customer profiles. This module enhances traceability, responsiveness, and operational transparency by embedding email workflows directly into the platform’s ecosystem.
